Location: Merric’s new store at Chartwell Shopping Centre, Hamilton (opening late August)

About the Role:
We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to join our brand-new Chartwell store team. In this role, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming shopping experience, assist customers in finding the perfect outfit, and contribute to achieving store sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service in line with the Merric brand

• Provide styling advice and outfit suggestions tailored to customer needs

• Maintain high visual merchandising and store presentation standards

• Process sales and handle transactions accurately

• Assist with stock management, including unpacking deliveries and restocking

• Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales targets

  
  

About You:

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the fashion industry

• A passion for style and helping customers look and feel their best

• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team

• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak retail periods
