Job Title: AI/ML Engineer About Us: TDL, NZ is seeking to buildan intelligent, natural-looking, and interactive AI interface capable ofseamless human interaction.
Job Description: As a SeniorAI/ML Engineer, you will play an important role in shaping the AI product weare developing. This role requires expertise innatural language processing (NLP), chatbot development, and AI voice generationto create an interface that understands, responds, and engages naturally withusers. You will lead a team of engineers and work on high-impact projects toensure the successful implementation of advanced AI solutions.
Main Tasks and Duties: · Model Development: Design, develop, and fine-tune advanced AI models, includingneural networks and other machine learning algorithms, to power the AIinterface. · NLP Expertise: Leadthe development of NLP components, such as language understanding, generation,and dialogue systems, to enable the AI interface to comprehend and respond tohuman queries and commands. · Chatbot Solutions: Develop and deploy sophisticatedchatbot systems to deliver seamless user experiences. · AI Voice Technology: Integrate text-to-speech and AI voicegeneration capabilities to enhance interactivity. · Data Analysis and Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets totrain and improve AI models.
Required Skills: · Solid foundation in AI and ML: Understanding of machine learning algorithms,neural networks, and statistical modelling. · NLP proficiency: Proficiency in natural language processing techniques (textclassification, sentiment analysis, language generation, and dialogue systems). · Chatbot Development Expertise: Proven experience in designing anddeploying chatbot solutions for real-world applications. · AIVoice Technology Expertise: Experience with text-to-speech systems and AIvoice generation technologies. · Programming Proficiency: programming skills in Python (preferred experiencewith deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras). · Data Analysis: Abilityto analyse datasets, identify patterns, and extract meaningful insights. · Problem-solving: problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tackle AIchallenges.
Qualifications &experience: · A degree in computer science, artificial intelligence,machine learning, or a related field · A minimum of 3–5 years of experience inAI/ML engineering or a related field. · Demonstrated experience in developingand deploying production-grade AI models and solutions. · Some publication record or contributions toopen-source AI projects (preferred).
Qualities &competencies · Passion for AI and a desire to work on cutting-edgeprojects. · Ability to work independently, and collaborate as partof a team · Excellentcommunication skills (bilingual Chinese/English is preferable for this role) · Self-motivated,flexible, adaptive, ethical and fast · Analytical mindset with creative and problem-solving abilities · Work efficiently under deadlines andtimeframes
