Location: Cambridge, Waikato
Job Description: - Manage bookings and reservations through phone calls, emails, and agency platforms.
- Welcome guests at the front desk and provide information on local dining, recreation, and attractions.
- Assist the Motel Manager with:
- Overseeing bookings and housekeeping operations.
- Creating staff rosters based on future bookings.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Reviewing and managing daily financial reports.
- Ordering supplies such as linens and detergents.
- Coordinating maintenance and repair work, including lawn mowing and pool cleaning.
- Accessing and reviewing customer satisfaction through feedback and surveys, addressing any issues or concerns to improve the guest experience.
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential group guests, including sports teams, choirs, and corporate clients.
Requirements: - Valid working visa for New Zealand is a must
- Fluent in English is a must
- Strong customer service skills with a reliable and proactive attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying hours.
- Previous experience in a motel or similar hospitality role (reception, housekeeping, management) is advantageous.
- Management experience is a plus.
