Our Finance Manager is going on Maternity Leave! Are you an experienced and diligent Finance Manager, if so, we would like to hear from you. We can offer a 12-month contract, based at our Head Office in Penrose Auckland. Our company, NPL, would be considered a leader in the Construction Labour Hire Sector. The Role Key Responsibilities: Having a broad range of experience managing a busy Payroll and Accounts Team. Hands on responsibility for producing monthly Board Reports, Annual Budgets and Reforecasts. Support the delivery of key outputs for Month End Close & Reporting, Latest Estimates, Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan. Annual Accounts and meeting all Tax and Corporate Legal Obligations. Cashflow Management and Debtor collection, along with overseeing accurate preparation of Weekly Management Reports for the Operations Team and Board. The Finance Manager is a Senior Member of the Executive Team. Therefore, expected to take on a variety of ad hoc tasks as directed by the CEO, relating to the Financial and Operational Management of the Business. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CA or CPA preferred however not prerequisite. Focus will be placed more on previous experience and personality. Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and optimize operational efficiency. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Salary by negotiation.
