Job brief
We are looking for a reliable OfficeAdministrator. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the restof the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The tasks of the office administrator will include bookkeepingand mentoring office assistants. The ideal candidate will be competent inprioritizing and working with little supervision. They will beself-motivated and trustworthy.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate office activities and operationsto secure efficiency and compliance to company policies · Supervise administrative staff and divideresponsibilities to ensure performance · Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointmentsetc. for the upper management · Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail,letters, packages etc.) · Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures · Create and update records and databases withpersonnel, financial and other data · Track stocks of office supplies and placeorders when necessary · Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Requirements and skills
· Proven experience as an officeadministrator, office assistant or relevant role · Outstanding communication and interpersonalabilities · Excellent organizational and leadership skills · Familiarity with office management proceduresand basic accounting principles · Excellent knowledge of MS Office and officemanagement software · National diploma; BSc/BA in officeadministration or relevant field is preferred
Project Assistant
Job brief
In this role, you will be exposed to a wide range ofproject-related tasks giving you tremendous insight into how some of the topdevelopments across the country are run from concept through to final completionand handover. You will gain exposure to projects across various sectorsincluding high-rise apartment, land development, bulk residential, retail andhotels, all the while being mentored by some of the best in the business.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with or leading project team meetings, clientprogress meetings and various stakeholder meetings
- Assisting with report preparation and presentation includingmonthly reports, client updates, milestone reports, minutes and agendas
- Stakeholder engagement liaising with various consultants,contractors and clients.
- Assisting Development Managers at project concept stage byproviding due diligence and feasibility inputs.
- Review and manage council lodgements, RFIs, procurement forResource consents and building consents, engineering approvals, 224C, code ofcompliance and licence agreements.
- Assist with the oversight of project revenue and expensebudgets.
- Handling of S&P agreements/purchaser contracts forbuildings or land
Requirements and skills
- Experience in the construction industry, ideally you willhave some experience with site observation or working for a main contractor andare tertiary qualified however all excellent candidates considered (Optional)
- Understanding of the building consent process, experience workingwith local authorities
- Experience in quality assurance and control, riskassessment, site observation, construction monitoring
- Possess excellent communication skills, professional, verbaland written communication.
