East Tamaki Construction Company looking for an Office Administrator to join our small team. Ideally with some QS or Architectural background. Position suited for someone who wants a long term role. Excellent in Written and Spoken English and at Spoken Chinese (Basic is enough)
As a small team, the responsibilities and skills required are wide ranging. Some are listed below:
- Highly organised & Ability to Multi-task
- Accuracy and detail is vital
- Friendly, happy, can-do attitude with a positive attitude at all times
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work without supervision
- Flexibility to learn and take on variety of tasks
- Computer Skills
- Entering invoices into system
- MYOB experience an advantage but not essential
- Assist in Marketing Material & Coordination
- Confident in dealing with Customers and Suppliers
- Basic Accounts including entering invoices, preparing payment schedules, and preparing reports
- Following up outstanding debtors
- Attention to detail and excellent arithmetic skills (we deal a lot with invoices and quotes)
- Typing up quotes and sending / emailing out
-Contacting suppliers for Quotes and Queries, including Council and Watercare
- Ad hoc PA for Directors
- Updating Website
- Answer phones and customer queries
- Clean, tidy and professional in work and in appearance
- Running errands
-Will be doing material take-offs (training provided) for ordering materials
