Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Print Production Operator/Finisher to join the growing family of Banner Express. As the Print Production Operator/Finisher, you are responsible for the production of laser printed products (flyers, business cards, brochures etc) and large format products (signs, banners, posters etc). You MUST have an eye for detail, making sure that our customers only receive top quality products. We do not deliver sub-standard product under any circumstances as customer satisfaction is paramount. Banner Express has a strict product turnaround policy and you MUST be prepared to work longer hours if required, to meet the product turnaround target.
What are the pre-requisites?
Technical Skills | Ideally you should have prior working experience with cut sheet laser production press or large format printer with knowledge of the relevant finishing processes. We are happy to provide full training if you are the right person with the can-do and positive attitude. Computer Skills | You must be familiar with Windows operating system and Microsoft Excel. Candidate with working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and colour management workflow is highly preferable. Communication Skills | You should be a people person who is capable of working with a tight-knit team. Ability to Multitask | You will be working on multiple print projects at the same time, each with a different deadline so nothing else other than excellent time management skill will help you to excel in this position. Willingness to Work Hard | Production floor is the place only for those who are willing to work hard. Some level of heavy lifting will be required when loading/unloading print materials and organising stock/prints so you must be physically capable of performing the material handling tasks.
