BAKERS AND PASTRYCOOKS
35 hours per week. Early morning 5am starts, weekend shifts, At Least 1-year of experience required. Basic English required as working in all English environments.
Daily baking from scratch of bread loaves and rolls, buns, cakes, muffins, biscuits, and various pastry goods. Tasks Include:
l Ensure cleanliness of equipment l Ensure compliance with occupational health and food safety regulations as well keeping food safety required records l Negotiate and ordering baking relate raw material from suppliers l Reduce wastage l kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods l monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times l coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products l glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing l operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits
