JOB DESCRIPTION - KEY RESPONSIBLITIES AND RESULT AREAS- Receive incoming orders from all customers and load into the in house system.
- Receive inbound products for pick pack.
- Process returns.
- Book in all pickups.
- Process all items to be shipped, as wellas those coming into the warehouse, following the established organizational procedures.
- Organize materials shipped to thewarehouse according to the picking list, item number and quantity.
- Generate labels and stick them on eachitem to ensure the item code is the same as that on the inventory.
- Choose the right packaging for each itemto ensure correct packing and shipping.
- Pick items manually or by using electronicscanning devices provided.
- Scan and upload tracking information into client systems and WMS.
- Replenish items.
- Prioritize tasks and work to meet deadlines.
- Complete and send end of day reports.
- Maintain high standard of communication with subordinates and supervisor/manager - verbal and written.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Follow the safety rules when picking,packing and shipping.
- Train new employees according to thecompany’s standard operating procedures.
- Stock takes.
- Mail handling.
- Print & Design as required.
- Assist with billing as required.
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the supervisor and /or the manager.
- Manage portfolio of small transactional accounts
- Grow new business (leads and research).
- Receives and processes inbound sales queries from clients via telephone, email and online.
- Coordinate direct injection lodgements.
- Work on products and service enhancements with relevant areas within QS
- keeping up to date with key challenges and opportunities.
- Being the main point of contact for any support clients require.
- Liaising with other internal departments to effectively meet clients' needs.
- manage and retain client relationships and build client loyalty.
- Continually stay abreast of new product offerings.
- Market intelligence – suppliers and competitors.
