Landlord will not consent to sell to any tom dick and harry who can't pay the rent.
So, no point to sell $1 even if there is taker.
No way the landlord is stupid enough to consent a sell to an inexperienced person with no financial means to pay the rent at least for 9 months. Likely scenario is landlord will ask for commecial Rent bond of $70K deposit and the prospective purchaser end up not able to buy the business.
Prepare for personal bankruptcy, landlords can take the chatters, chairs, oven, etc and sell them.
The cruel reality is not $1 business. The real question is assigning the commercial lease to someone, ie getting rid of commercial lease and find a replacement person. The landlord is not stupid either just to let anyone into the property and with no prospect of getting pay and at the mercy of their business income.
By going to the Media, the plan and scheme is now exposed. Not a wise move.
