Yes, my friend had similar experience.
She use a mortgage broker , call her A, and when A applied my friend's loan with ANZ, she lied about lots of details (including stating my friend will rent out two of the rooms and that they only have 1 child - in fact they have 2).
Around two years later, my friend decided to use mortgage broker B - she's trying to buy a larger property for the family. mortgage broker B is quite honest with all the details... and ANZ found out the details don't match at all so they didn't approve her loan. It will be quite difficult for this family to get a loan with ANZ for a long time I guess... |
