a free event for international student graduates hosted at AUT’s Wellesley St, Auckland campus, from 9.15am this Friday, 16th May.    This is one of a series of employment events for international student graduates, co-hosted by the members of the Economic Settlement Action Leadership Team (ESALT),  including members of Immigration NZ’s Settlement Unit and Auckland Council, and by the New Zealand Chinese Youth Federation (NZCYF).   All events are free and open to international students in their final year, and to recent graduates.

The event will involve two presentations; one on visa information for graduates and one on the support offered them by Immigration NZ, as well as a short presentation by a former international student on his pathway from student to permanent resident.   There will also be an information stand, networking time and opportunities for students to ask questions.
