要到惠灵顿读书，求问关于租房

2月初要到惠灵顿的奥塔哥分校读书，地址是23A mein street ,new town.请问租住到学校比较近，租金大概多少，或者谁有房请留言给我。谢谢

New town那边的房租一般都还蛮便宜的了。。相对市区来说

不过选的时候建议慎重，因为某些地方有时候治安不是特别好。。

我看到一间学校推荐的公寓230/周，不大，但是独立的，觉得有点贵，

It is at the city end of Newtown, so not too bad la. the other end of Newtown/zoo end, you see more unemployed/refugees wandering around, so be more alert when dark. It is an interesting community, where I work and live for about 3years, no problem. Heaps of buses to town/shopping/clubs, very convenient. a Newtown mall/New World plus a newly opened Countdown, you can walk to get grocery done. at a shared flat, $150/wk+exp per room is average.  PLUS, the famous Newtown Fair is coming. You won't miss it.
