I just received this disturbing letter of warning from one of the local primary schools (forwarded to us by Satine's principal): Murrays Bay Community On Friday while helping her older brother with his paper run on Bournemouth Terrace , one of our Year 5 students MBS uniform was startled when a car pulled up next to her. Two men, late teens , early 20's were talking to each other very aggressively. One was heard to say, ”There’s one, open the boot.” They both got out of the car - one opened the boot the other approached the student who ran away to a pre arranged meeting spot with her brother . The police have been informed and are making investigations . The car was a early 2000 late 90s dark blue Holden sedan or similar make with silver mags and some rust above the wheels front and back. The two men were caucasian wearing caps back to front , singlets , one with dark brown hair the other light brown with tattoos on his right arm . The police are very concerned at their comments as it seems they were hunting and NOT opportunists. Also the fact that they actioned by getting out of the car and opening the boot. The advise from the police is to inform everyone of this and have it put in the newsletter. |
