It depends on which incoterms is being used and stated on SLI. Judge on your description, it looks like CFR or CIF(Port of AKL) to me. This means the shipper is responsible for Origin costs and Freight charges. Any charges occured at destination are under your resposibility.
Please bear in mind, most of LCL charges are calculated by cubicmetre and 10 cbm can not be considering as a small LCL shipment given the useable volume of 20ft container. I’ll say the charges are pretty reasonable.
Make up your mind ASAP. Otherwise, Port of AKL will start to charge you demurrage after 3 day of arrival. |
