趣味谈论 使咱们奥大排名降低的因素

本人不推荐过度关注排名问题 神马都是浮云啦 但是 这也是个有意思的话题

目前泰晤士报的排名跌落 原因我觉得可能是:

1.海伦不在这儿当差了 现任国家领导人中 少了一个重量级奥大毕业的了 (Citizen的同学努力啊 靠你们了)
2.当年排名高捞了不少钱 英国女王觉得 好处不能都给新西兰啊 该帮帮澳洲振奋一下了 （等等 忍忍 就调高回来了）
3.这两年没出有世界影响力的名人 学术界 政治界 商业界 （毕业生们争气吧 混出点什么 浪得虚名都好）
4.之前奥大连续大手笔建了IC和BusinessBuilding 以及改善其他校区 最近没建太多东西 （没地方建了 奥克兰就这么大）
5.移民政策不稳定 专业选择上有误导 分配不均匀 毕业生就业率下滑 （这个选专业要顺其自然 千万别太听移民局的 毕业的时候什么都变了 要有学习兴趣 要么就有远见 当然 能赶上好政策那最好）
6.英美人士过来看看就回去了 觉得不是什么宝贝 就跟泰晤士报说了"把它弄下来点儿" （谁有能耐就把它黑了）

奥大历史上的名人太少

P.S. 本人多年来(在这上高中时 想过去美国上大学 所以曾关注这方面) 更喜欢参考咱们中国的 "上海交通大学" 的世界名校排名 但是 任何排名都不完善 毕竟 这世界上依然有很多很好的 却不为众人知的一流学校

确实如此 但比起曾经大规模的建设，Fine arts那算是修缮

idiot! If you have read how the marks are caclulated each year(times higher) you will find that in ~2008, the international student score is counting 25%, now is only counting 7.5% or 5%.
Do not only look at figures and without thingking and knowing the fact.
University staff is also counted as 25% of overall score. In china, the gate keeper and chef and lab supervisor and IT people may also count as university staffs. This is why some of the university in china get high marks in this sector. But if you have a look at cite per paper or academic performance, US universities are much much better.

And each ranking source has different ranking rules. so never compare ranking from different providers. However, for a university, you should focus on its academic strength, maybe also finacial strength.

学生理性的看待排名有什么用。
用人单位还管你是不是国际学生数量是不是占7.5%。
你爸妈还管你这样那样FACTOR的狡辩？

嗯 其实自己去适合自己的学校 读书觉得开心 比什么排名都重要 想想后来为什么没去美国 也是老天的安排 说明和奥大的缘分 也挺幸福的呢
