Urgent Do we need the letter of police certificate

Hi everyone,

Please answer me if you know it:

Nowadays, when NZ immigration asks for our police certificate from our own country, do we need to hand in a copy of a letter (It is a letter which invite you to apply for the police certificate) from the local community as well?

That letter will be retained by the chinese police station, so we can just hand in the copy of it. I asked a agent. They said that letter is necessary. They also said NZ immigration will need copy of the Chinese version of it & the translated english one as well. I remember b4 we just need the police certificate, not the letter. Is it true that we need that letter now?

Look forward to your reply.  (So sorry can't type chinese in a public computer.)

那我改一下，国内公证处有些会留原件存档。
另外，移民局网站说的很清楚，可以不用原件，复印件就完全可以。

恩，那这样当然最好了。因为地域问题，不是什么地方都是想要什么就有什么的。中国太大，标准很不一样。有些地方还需要指纹，有地方需要委托书，有地方必须是本人亲临。

恩。。。。我那边公证处就会扣原件，派出所还不给开两份原件。。。不过移民局说复印件就可以，虽然无犯罪COPY件上就有翻译，拿过来依然需要翻译，盖印

你拿到了居委会的信后，要去公安局再写一封无犯罪的信。因为居委会只能证明你是不是那的居民。有了公安局的信，你拿去做公证，他们 会一式两份给你的。那份公证里面会是一页中文 （公安局信的COPY） 一页英文的。你把这个公证交给这里的移民局就可以了。公证的有效期是从ISSUE DATE起算的6个月。

You have to supply both a police certificate and a photocopy of the original police clearance certificate letter issued by the local Public Security Bureau or Vice Squad. (Please note that a police clearance certificate letter issued by an applicant's work unit, work unit security department, street office or talent centre is not acceptable.)



Please ensure you keep a photocopy of this letter with you and present the original letter to a Notary Office who will provide the finished police certificate.



You should provide both the notarised police certificate and the photocopy of the certificate letter from local police authorities with your application.

楼主，移民局的网站上明确说了，必须是当地派出所或公安局开出的无犯罪证明，什么居委会之类开的无效。重新去开吧。有人建议你把居委会的同时交上去，那是画蛇添足！
