话说抗议有效，2个月前关于走BUS LANE的事件最终解决

2个月前的一个礼拜 ，因为送老婆去CT UNI上学，每天要走SYMOND ST 然后走1号高速区上班。
1个礼拜内被4次罚走BUS LANE 因为之前的规定是100米还是150米 ，所以一直也就那么走（我是左转）。 收到第一封罚单后 ，接下来的几天又连续接到3封罚单，而且在一个星期内，因同样的理由，同一个地点，几乎相同的时间9：00左右）。
上 council网站一查 ，原来bus lane 改成50米以内才准走。（事后才回忆起 ，那个礼拜每天有一个阿三council的人拿摄像机站在路口不远，我以为是地质勘测的人，因为旁边就是奥大工程楼）
写信给council complain ，过了有10个工作日才回我第一封，大意是如果你要交两个罚单 ，我们会考虑给你取消另外两个（注意是考虑取消而不是一定取消）。于是我继续给他们写信，就说我收到第一封信的时候，其实已经过了第四个事件发生的时间（第四次走bus lane 的日期）。如果我在不知道我违例的情况下当然还会一直那么走（用bus lane).所以我申请只缴一次的罚单。
然后又是一阵漫长的等待，然后收到他们的来信，意思是你敬酒不吃吃罚酒，还是得缴四次的罚单，不然就得上法庭，（还告诉我不管认不认错，都会支付上庭的费用），因此催我赶快交。

到这里 我本来想一个都不交，后来想 既然他说给我让我缴两次然后就重新考虑我的case 我就赌一把自己的人品，缴2次的，然后再次申诉。


在这期间，媒体报道了city council是专门雇了10几个人专门拍摄使用bus lane的雇员，每年的罚单是700多万。在主流以及华人媒体的报道下，大家也对这些“害虫”有了一些认识了。

前天 ，也就是周六。council 发信过来 了，另外两个罚款不用缴了。case closed。


在这里想告诉大家的是，遇到罚单不要慌张，要是明显自己错的 还是尽早缴为好，留下案底什么的就不值得了。
但是有argue的情况一定不要放弃你的权利。替你省钱不说，也让council知道个人的力量是无限的（其实这事情要不是很多人都被involved，我的case 也不见得会重见天日）。

写complain信也不要怕麻烦，就用council给你寄信的信封寄好了，反正免费（他的初衷是让你给他寄支票的）。



写了一大堆，就一句话。


大家遇到事情不要放弃自己的权利。 不要”认了“ 很多时候 就是这样的心理，让政府部门和大企业大公司欺负。。。。。。。。。

Thank you for your correspondence requesting a review of the infringement notices issued to
your vehicle.
Bus lanes are a vital component in Auckland City Council’s vision of an effective, sustainable
transport network.
Auckland City Council implemented special vehicle lanes on its main arterial routes in an
effort to reduce passenger’s travelling time into and out of the city during peak hours. In
Auckland city, enforcement zones are set up and measured at pre-determined sites and all
exceed 50 metres in length. Motorists who travel in the special vehicle lane and exceed the
length of the enforcement zone may incur an infringement notice.
Although special vehicle lanes are reserved for specific classes of vehicles, all other vehicles
may cross the lane to complete a turning manoeuvre, subject to giving way to vehicles
primarily entitled to use the lane. This entitlement is specified in the Land Transport (Road
User) Rule 2004 Part 2.3.
As of 1 November 2009, the Land Transport (Road User Rule) Amendment 2009 came into
force. The Amendment states that when drivers need to cross a special vehicle lane to turn
left or to get to a parking space, they must do so using the minimum length of the lane
necessary to complete the manoeuvre and for no more than a maximum length of 50 metres.
The enforcement area that you were observed in is actually 71 metres long.
After reviewing this matter, we have decided to proceed with your notice. Payment is
therefore required by the date noted above.
If payment is received in relation to two notices and I received confirmation from yourself that
this has been done. I will reconsidered the remaining two notices.

以前是100或150米吗?我记得一直都是50米啊...拿摄像机的人就站在50米那个点上.

大早晨做BUS上学多好,还有专线,开车那时候多堵啊.

顶楼主一个，有时真的不知道50米事多远，所以很容易被照，特别是SYMOND ST,既然是24小时的，都无语了，我是中午12点做哟被照的，后来写了信，过了2个多星期，给我回了，还给我寄来了照片，说我大概60米左右的的时候拐的，只好自认倒霉了

本来我都想 认了算了， 后来觉得一礼拜内连续 被罚四次 太不合理， 所以就一直写信给他们抗议。

我本来也不是较真的人 ，但是 600快确实不是小数目。能力争当然要力争了。不然自己就倒霉 。
