询问关于工作签证 （已经回答）

你好，我的一个朋友是中国厨师，已来新西兰2个月，持有3年的工作签证。现在他想换个饭店工作，还是作厨师。那么他是用Variation of Conditions申请好呢，还是用work permit application form申请好呢？这两个有什么区别吗？谢谢。

还有想问如果用Variation of Conditions申请后，移民局批的是work permit还是permit和visa都给？因为朋友是刚从国内来的，用的是work visa.谢谢。

Applying for a variation of conditions to an existing work permit

If you have a current work permit through Essential Skills, you may be able to vary your current work permit conditions in the following circumstances:
    * If you are changing employer but staying in the same region.
    * If you are staying with the same employer but changing region.
However, if the following scenarios occur, a new work permit application is required:
    * If you are changing both employer and region.
    * If you are changing occupation, job title or industry.
这里面的region是指工作行业例如：厨师，会计。还是指地区，惠灵顿，奥克兰？

如果只是改雇主，可以用variation of Condition

Region指的是地区，不是行业。
