Checklist for Applying for six months open work visa ($120) and work visa ($160)

• Graduation letter (go and ask your programme leader)
• Transcript
• Bank account (at least NZ$2,100 and plane ticket)
• One passport size photo
• Passport
• Police certificate (people who stay in New Zealand over two years)
• Accommodation proof (the letter from landlord or home stay)
• Medical examination including X-ray and general examination (people who have done it over two years)
• Application form (three ways to get it)
  • Ask form from ISSU
  • Get the form from immigration
  • Download from the website of New Zealand immigration (www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/stream/work/worktemporarily/default.htm click the iron “More forms and Guides” on the right side then click “Application to work in NZ”)

20 hours student work visa
for the student who have already had the student visa. Go and ask for a letter from ISSS to prove that can work for 20 hours per week.

Please apply within 3 months after you complete all your papers.
