我觉得新旧移民,政府并没有特别的区别对待,正好现在经济吃紧,巨额的外债,导致这个政府已经摇摇欲坠, ...
this is so tiring, and never constructive, you guys are so good at taking on one side of the problem, peeping down the little narrow tube you created, and yet trying to push others to do the same, else, you'd criticise that why others don't see things as you do, and why others being so unfair and not taking the social responsibility in this worldwide hardship due to ecnomic decline and natural disasters.
No, I won't be saying anything to the German government if I did not work or live there for ages and asking why they don't offer me any social benefit and protection. But if my kids did for all those long years, and my kids went there studying with my funding in that country, boosted up the country's skilled population, and being contributing there ever since, paying their tax. And the government denies their parents of any social protection? I'd think it's a very stingy selfish government, where my kids aren't treated fair, they're always second class citizen because they had to do more and always getting less!
Maoris? Is that even a problem?
No one blamed them because of what you said and biasly leading us to. Not many people like them is because, they can make things better, getting more education, working hard for a decent living, making their fair contribution to keep the society improving. But many of them choose not to! They'd rather stay at home, boozing, raising dozens of kids whom probably have many different fathers or mothers, and choose not to work, simply feed on social benefit! And yet, many even lived better on social benefit than those who worked hard on little jobs! That's where it's all becoming ridiculous, that's why many sensible people don't respect them much! Because they don't create, they just consume and complain! They feed on others! They don't put their effort in making things better, they just sit their spending others' hard earned money, and complaining. And even better, there are people like you, defending them. Any laziness, lack of social responsbility, shamelessly spending tax payers money yet without any contribution. Don't hold up to jobs not because they can't find a job, just because working is too hard! And they can just sit there and spend others' money doing nothing! All these, there are people like you whom could defend them by saying... land...
If the land is still purely theirs, will they survived this long by doing nothing? Whom else would be there to create surplus for them to consume? Not everything can be used for any excuse.
But, don't get me wrong, I have met and know many Maoris whom are living a respectful and decent life, by choose to work, study, live positively and responsibly, instead of doing nothing but just feed on social benefits. However large amount of Maori population aren't like them, that's also not deniable.
Yes, the society and the country is in a hardship. Are those of us whom doubts the new immigration law being unreasonable and unfair? Not willing to sacrifice some of our benefits or rights to help the country?
No! We live here, work here, a better country simply make better people better families! We want it to be better, and we're willing to contribute a fair share in that too.
What we have problem with is: are we the first to be tossed over board when the ship is sinking? Are we to be sacrificed to shift real problem? Does the government ever care of our well being except the tax money they get from us or loads of money we brought in since we first came here to study and live?
If not, why should we be happy about this whole thing? Like naive idiots contriubting whatever we can and trust people and the society will do the right thing when time comes?
If we arent treated as equals, are't holding hands together with locals and local government to face the hardship together and cope togher, if we're just to be sacrificed when things get hard, then any contriubtion any postive thinking we had about NZ will naturally perish.
Is the economy going to get better soon? If not, is this only a start? If the situation gets worse, how long can NZ and NZ government hold up onto their human skin which once appeared to us as kind, fair, caring, civil and not corrupted? How long and how hard does it take before NZ becoming savages in Indonesia? That's what we fear...
Positive thinking is needed, but people simply can't rely on naively trusting human nature.
When there is something not right, for those who sensed, it's their right to raise their concern, either prepare themselves for the worst, or making effort to control the problem from bursting out.
Simply wishing, hoping and beliving everything is okay isn't going to work.
And those of you whom targeting on people like me whom raised concerns to an issue, simply by talking down on them, accusing them with ridiculous excuses, shifting the real nature of the discussion and problem, and never addressing the issue/s with any constructive opinion and fairness open mind and kind heart, well, that's you freedom to do so, but never dream you're doing any right thing here.
Now, it's my freedom too, to ignore you. Happy discussion, but I'll spare myself from wasting my time listening or talking to those whom are not worth of it. |
