Haha, thanks, I have been quite busy lately so haven't been here that often.
I think you answered most - drianage easement is registered on the title to allow part of your land (underground) for the drainage use by other adjacent property (ies) (not necessarily Council) - I don't think it affects subdivision directly unless the proposed lot would alter the connection/pattern of the existing underground pipes.
Normally when one lodges a subdivision consent application, the applicant needs to submit a drainage/stormwater report (by engineers) as well and the scheme plan needs to show the proposed sewage/stormwater connections, and certainly the application needs to address any existing drainage easement in the new design as well. |
