The products being recalled are:

- Karicare Infant Formula Stage 1 (0–6 months) in NEW ZEALAND ONLY with batch numbers 3169 and 3170 (use by 17 06 2016 and 18 06 2016). The batch number and use by date can be found on the base of the tin.

- Karicare Gold+ Follow On Formula Stage 2 (6–12 months) in NEW ZEALAND ONLY with batch number D3183 (use by 31 12 2014). The batch number and use by date can be found on the base of the tin.

Consumers should not feed products with these batch numbers to infants.

If you have been using these products to feed your infant and your child shows any sign of illness, please contact your health care professional as a precautionary measure.

This recall ONLY affects batch numbers 3169 and 3170 of Karicare Infant Formula Stage 1 (0–6 months), sold in New Zealand and batch number D3183 of Karicare Gold+ Follow On Formula Stage 2 (6–12 months), sold in New Zealand.

The recall DOES NOT include other Karicare products.

This issue does not affect any Nutricia products sold in Australia.

Parents are being told to stop feeding their infants Nutricia Karicare follow-on formula amid concerns it may contain a bacteria that could cause botulism.

The Ministry of Primary Industries today identified Nutricia Karicare follow-on formula as a product made in New Zealand potentially containing contaminated whey protein from Fonterra's Hautapu manufacturing facility.

The scare covers some 40 metric tonnes of product, which is used as an ingedient in a further 900 tonnes of product.

The batches of Nutricia Karicare follow-on formula, potentially contaminated with the life-threatening bacteria botulism, are not thought to be on New Zealand shelves.

But the acting director general of the Ministry of Primary Industries, Scott Gallacher, said this afternoon that he was advising parents not to use the formula as a precaution.

Gallacher named the countries involved as Australia, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam.

China this afternoon ordered a recall of all milk products that could be affected.

感觉是个好消息，我本以为新西兰自己品牌的奶粉无出头之日了。

问题:
K奶粉的有效期是18个月.如果说是12年5月的那么13年11月就过期.马上要过期的奶粉才发现问题?
不在新西兰上架?怎么证明????
我很怀疑商家的解释.

你新闻没看清， 受到污染的是原料粉， 生产日期12年5月。。。。不是12年5月生产的婴儿奶粉

想想当年三鹿奶粉事情这么严重，恒天然拿着一半股权驻守着一群经理会全然不知道三聚氢铵行业规则？鬼才信呢。三鹿中国部全判刑，恒天然装作受损害方装好人，继续赚钱，多垃圾啊。

死活说没在新西兰上架,谁能证明.如果上架了,它敢承认吗?
如果是我 我立马给孩子换牌子.绝对不在去喝这K牌的了.

嗨， 谁知道呢， 现在从新闻上看是5批次的普装2段， 其他的消息还没有， MPI说是有派一个小组去仓库核实这5批次中在新西兰的3批次还在仓库中。 不是行业内人不知道， 就是有点琢磨着原料粉保质期多长啊， 怎么去年5月份的现在都还没有用完。。。。。话说回来这次是恒天然坑爹， 下面一帮奶粉生产商中枪呗。。。

所以这个日期的问题,我很是困惑不解.
这些厂商当知道无法逃脱的时候 都是采取缩小范围,减少自己损失.他们从来不考虑消费者的利益的.

如果是follow-on formula的话，可能不止是普通装的。金装的，还有羊奶也有用follow-on formula。

新西兰的奶粉厂很多都是进口南美洲的奶源，然后到新西兰加工。然后按MADE IN NZ出口。恒天然那些都这么干。你可以搜索一下每年新西兰奶源进口数量。

反正是karicare出问题（跟恒天然有关），不管是用哪里的奶源。

小孩子还是直接从母乳到吃米糊比较安全啊。奶粉这东西毕竟也是经过工厂化学加工的

Karicare 纽迪希亚已表示，三个批次是在奥克兰一个仓库里，一个是在船上，另一种是在存储在澳大利亚。纽迪希亚已经表示它已经锁定了那些批次，他们将不能在市场上出售。--

问题源头是在恒天然没错。还有其他牌子也被影响，而且不止是奶粉，还有其他的产品。Karicare只是其中一家。
