Sweet Barbequed Peaches Ingredients
3 peaches
1/2 cup raw sugar
1 tsb cinnamon
6 scoops of ice cream
Halve the peaches and remove the stone.
Place flesh side down on a barbeque heated to a medium to hot temperature for 5 minutes.
While cooking,mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
When the peach halves are browned,turn them over and sprinkle the top of each with the spiced sugar.
Cook for a further 3 minutes then remove form the barbeque and serve with a scoop of ice cream or cream in the hollow of each half.
Serves 6
Savoury Barbequed Peaches Ingredients
3 peaches
1/2 cup raw sugar,plus an extra tsp for the vinegar mix
1 tsb cinnamon
1/2 small red chilli,finely diced 2 tbsp cider vinegar
Halve the peaches and remove the stone.
Place flesh side down on a barbeque heated to a medium to hot temperature for 5 minutes.
While cooking,mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
In another bowl mix togther the ceder vinegar,chilli and tsp of sugar and set aside.
When the peach haves browned,trun them over and sprinkle the top of each with the spiced sugar and fill the hollows of each peach with the cider vinegar mixtrue.
Cook for a further 3 minutes.
Remove from the barbeque and serve with any type of meat. |
