New Zealand High Court proceedings – update
Our organisation’s action in the New Zealand High Court against the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) concluded last week. As you will recall, the action was taken as a matter of principle to defend the integrity of the profession, uphold your brand and the CPA designation, and only after all attempts to resolve the matter outside the proceedings were exhausted. To keep you informed, find below a series of independent media articles concerning the hearings. We expect the Court to hand down its judgment in approximately 8 – 12 weeks, and we will come back to you once the Judge’s decision is handed down.
