以下是PLUNKET 网上的信息,楼主不妨一读:
All babies vary in how they settle to sleep. Newborn babies can fall asleep in bed, being cuddled, rocked or fed and then have a good sleep. Some babies have a pattern of needing to be rocked or fed to go to sleep and wake crying soon after being put down.
This can be because they were with you when they went to sleep and when they wake during the lighter part of the sleep cycle they are now in a different place. Baby may then become more wakeful, wanting you to rock or feed them before they can go back to sleep.
By falling asleep in bed your baby learns that bed is a familiar place and that if they wake between sleep cycles they may settle back to sleep again on their own.
Once your baby is feeding well, the following may help you settle your baby to sleep:
1. Have a quiet, calming period before going to bed such as a cuddle, talking in a quiet soothing voice or singing.
2.Keep your baby at a comfortable temperature - they shouldn't be too warm in bed, so one more layer than an adult would wear is enough.
3.Try to put your baby to bed awake or drowsy, when they show signs of being tired.
A tired baby may:
3.1 grizzle
3.2 rub their eyes
3.3 have poor eye contact, seem to stare into space (not looking at anything)
3.4 yawn
3.5 have clenched fists
3.6 startle easily
3.7 have tense movements
4.You may like to relax your baby by patting, stroking, talking to them quietly or using a musical mobile. You may like to stay with them while they settle to sleep or leave the room when your baby is calm but still awake.
5. Most babies sleep through usual household noises. You don’t need to make special efforts to keep the house quiet. Some babies prefer to go to sleep to the sound of the vacuum cleaner or music; others settle better with a quieter house. |
