I am applying a nursing job and there are some questions that im not sure how to answer. Can anyone help plz?

1. describe the transition you expect to undertake when moving from the student role to the registered nurse role.

2. what are the qualities or skills you have which you would bring to an employing organisation?

My answer:
· Effectively assess, plan and manage client care
· Work with clients and their family in a culturally safe and appropriate manner to deliver effective care;
· Act professionally in a team, collaborating with team members to deliver best possible care and outcome
and I am a proactive person and im always willing to learn>

Dose this answer sounds OK?

3. during your shift one of your patients becomes unwell, requiring a lot of your timr, describe your actions, including how you would re-prioritise your workload to best manage the situation?
This one is hard..coz i have never been in situation like this before...

There is no right or wrong answers. LZ要随机应变，多举实习中的例子。可以是成功的例子，说自己处理的怎么样的好；也可以举失败的例子，重要的是你从中学到了什么，以后怎么做。答案都是因人而异，可以借用你学校的NURSING STANDARDS，然后举例。因为你只是NEW GRAD， 不需要有完美的答案。祝LZ好运！

你是不是只答了第二題? 你寫的答案好像只能回答第二題

第一題: 就很平常心的說 Registered nurse has wider scope of practice and more responsibilities than a student nurse, but as a new grad nurse, I will work with the team and always ask questions when I am unsure and learn from that experience. 反正他們主要都是想聽我們知道RN責任多 但不懂時敢問(pt safety) 然後會學習
第二題: 你這應該是CV裡寫的吧 如果回答能輕鬆些 看起來不像背書 應該還算OK的回答
反正最重點就是說到: 你有basic clinical skill and willing to learn and learn very fast
然後work as a team member (如果可以的話 你可以說一下你以前實習 you got on with the team very well and really enjoyed working together as a team..)
然後 如果只單說你會cultrally safe就太遜了 我個人是都這麼說(我覺得這樣才會突顯我跟別的應徵者不一樣): As an international student in New Zealand for __ years, I am personally very aware of culturaly safety and understand that respect is very important, especially under clinical situaitons. Also I am very fluent in Mandarin and English, so I am able to communicate with the majority of Asian clients/pts (如果在Auckland 可以說這個 因為亞洲人口多 我之前interview時 她們都特喜歡這點 聽到就說:哇 That's great...we do have many Asian patients who come to our clinic, etc).
第三題: 首先 我想你別太天真想他們問你的situation妳都遇過 或都得真的舉個"實例" 我們現在是要工作!!不是要身家調查 所以我覺得你要從你既有的經驗 改一下 去配合他們的問題
你說的situation 你可以直接跟他說: Although I've never been in the situation yet, I think...這題看你是怎樣的人 不同的答法很多 我會先說I would do quick assessment to see what actions I need to carry out for this pt and my other pts.  I would delegate some non-clinical tasks to Health Care Assistants, such as showering and bed changing. Then I would quickly consult with a senior nurse about the situation and ask for advice and a hand. 云云...這個主要要你說你會delegate也會找help吧....

LZ現在工作很難找 我有個同學也還沒找到 但不氣餒 有心 一定有的

谢谢啦,我是只回答了第2题.我在申南岛的工作.otago的。他们光是填申请表就要回答 好多问题。。。我又很不会回答。。好悲剧阿。。。真不知道真正面试的时候该怎呢办。因为我实习的时候，并没有emergency situation or sth like this...so find very hard to answer question like this...especially when they ask tell me about a significant situation or a difficult pt....im just totally stuck with it....

Is there anything that i can read that would help me answer this kinda of question?
