关于未交罚单出境问题

一周前在CT下雨天不小心闯红灯被照相机照了，今天去Ministry of Justice 问了，还是没有罚单信息，由于几天后就要回国。如果那时罚单才寄来而一时来不及交的话是否能够出境？

另外如闯红灯这类的罚单，是由city council还是Ministry of Justiec开出的？ 一般多久能收到？

如果两三百块的罚单，出境应该是没问题的，双程机票就好啦

you got 28 days to pay after you first received the ticket from Police (traffic) or Council (parking).
after first 28 days, a reminder ticket will be sent to you.
you got another 28 days to pay after received reminder.
if you haven't paid within 28 after received reminder letter. the ticket will be transfered to MOJ.
and $30 will be added on top of the ticket.

Plus, collection of fines at the air port does not care your ticket of few hundred bucks.
It's targeting those with few thousand dollars of fines.
plus, you can pay the fines by credit card at the airport by ringing MOJ if you do get stopped (I don't think that's gonna happen)

随便出境,以前认得有人欠1000多罚单,2000多BAYCOP的照样走了,单程机票
