In the same industry as you, currently a manager managing a team of 20 (i am in IT though).

Rather than starting in a new field from scratch again, why not think about how to leverage what you already have now and expand from there? Have an honest one on one with your manager, ask him to guide you and help put a career progression plan together.

At the end of the day, it is who you know that you will get you somewhere and not what you know. Start establishing your base and connection now. Which Telco are you with now? Vxxxxxxx or Sxxxx?

新西兰很难培养RF engineer，没有这方面成规模的大公司，需求的这方面的人才也是经验很丰富的，没有经验很难入行，我们公司的RF engineer是七年前从芬兰诺基亚挖过来的。唯一比较容易入门的是去大学做RF的project，如果有这方面比较熟的导师的话。
