“留学新西兰”摄影大赛&新西兰中国留学生形象大使评选
暨纪念中国-新西兰建交40周年活动
一、活动概况
为庆祝2012年中国-新西兰建交40周年,展现中国留学生在新西兰积极的学习态度和良好的精神面貌,记录中新文化交流的点点滴滴,新西兰各有关中国学生会(Chinese Students Association,CSA)特举办“新西兰中国留学生摄影大赛暨纪念中国-新西兰建交40周年”活动。
本次活动由中国驻新西兰大使馆教育处、孔子学院(维多利亚大学)、《神州学人》杂志社(中国教育部)、Education NZ和Massey University主办,新西兰各有关中国学生会(CSA)共同承办,并得到了中国南航和天维网的大力支持。
参赛作品的题材主要包括校园风景、学生学习、文化活动、手机抓拍等主题。主要面向在新西兰留学(包括曾经留学现已毕业)的中国学生,但其他社会人士也可报名。
本次活动不限器材,不求专业,望大家积极参加。

(二)表彰:
颁奖活动将会在大使馆进行,并颁发获奖荣誉证书。获奖证书由大使馆、孔子学院、Education New Zealand、MasseyUniversity联合颁发。

(六)筹备小组
大赛的所有活动由大赛组委会负责组织,并拥有本次活动的最终解释权。组委会下设筹备小组,具体负责本次大赛的方案策划和组织协调,负责联系、沟通、协调新西兰各中国学生会,统一制作宣传海报,建立报名咨询网站(www.csa.ac.nz),同时在Skykiwi、新浪微博(新西兰中国学生摄影大赛)、Facebook (csaofnz@gmail.com)、各地报纸进行宣传,接受参赛报名,组织参赛作品的初赛(网上投票、各学生会推荐)、复赛、决赛,协调有关媒体组织开展“新西兰中国留学生形象大赛”评选活动,配合主办方做好获奖作品的表彰工作,并协调各中国学生会做好对优秀作品的推广工作,组织制作《留学新西兰》杂志,推荐优秀作品报有关媒体专栏刊登。
五、报名环节
(一)摄影比赛报名规定
参赛作品主题包括以下4类:
校园风景。重点以新西兰各类院校的校园风景为主,不含人物或者人物为辅。
留学生涯。主要是体现中国学生在新西兰的勤奋刻苦的学习精神,展现中国留学生朝气蓬勃的良好形象,反映当地学生或者其他国家留学生共同学习、交流的场景。
文化艺术。主要是体现中国学生参加的各种新西兰风格的社会活动,展示新西兰特有的文化艺术和独特的岛国文化,如毛利文化。捕捉中新两国文化交流的点滴瞬间,重温中国人闯荡新西兰的历史足迹。
手机随拍。主题围绕中国留学生即可。
1、参赛人员。参赛人员主要面向正在新西兰留学的中国学生以及有新西兰留学背景的中国人。欢迎社会各界人士、其他国家人士积极参与,但其参赛作品必须以中国留学生/新西兰校园学习生活元素为主。
2、报名方式。参赛人员可以直接通过邮件向组委会报名参赛。报名时,请提交参赛者的通讯信息、参赛作品。作品请发送到指定邮箱csaofnz@gmail.com。报名邮件主题为“摄影大赛XX类报名+姓名+学校”;参加形象大使评选的,报名邮件主题为“形象大使报名+姓名(中英皆可)+学校”。参赛者在报名截止之日前,可以随时更新参赛作品,但需提前告知组委会。
3、报名信息。 报名的邮件中,每张照片均应标有中英文名字,报名邮件必须标注信息包括参赛人姓名(中英文)、通讯地址、手机号、所在院校(非在校学生请联系筹备小组);可选标注信息包括每张照片拍摄的地点、时间,拍摄相机的品牌型号,照片背景描述等。
4、报名确认号。符合报名条件的,将会收到组委会反馈的“报名确认号”后,即代表报名成功。校园类确认号A字母开头(如A07)、学生类确认号B字母开头(如B07)、文化类确认号C字母开头(如C07)、手机类确认号D字母开头(如D07)。本次大赛报名、评选、颁奖、宣传等,均以报名确认号为准。

7、参赛作品和拍摄过程都必须严格遵守相关的法律法规规定,不得抄袭,不得侵犯他人的合法权益。参赛人应当保证参赛作品的版权归本人所有。涉及人物的照片,参赛人应当取得照片中人物的正式许可。任何因参赛作品中的人物的肖像权等方面产生的纠纷,均与本次大赛无关。
8、之前已获过奖励的或曾公开发表过的作品不得参赛。
9、一旦报名,即表示参赛人同意授权本次活动的组织方免费享有对参赛作品的使用、宣传、推广、巡展等权利。本次大赛的组委会拥有对此次活动的最终解释权。
(二)形象大使报名规定
作为本次大赛的子系列活动,本次大赛还将组织评选“2012年新西兰中国留学生形象大使”,将代表新西兰的中国留学生出席各种中新的教育、文化等公益宣传活动。参赛选手年龄、性别不限。
有意参加新西兰中国留学生 形象大使评选的同学,可以有以下3种方式参赛:
1、“学生类”摄影作品评选。
2、学生会推荐。
3、个人自荐。可以直接联系本次大赛筹备小组(csaofnz@gmail.com)。

六、法律声明:
1 ELIGIBILITY
The Oversea Study in New Zealand Photo Contest is open nationwide toentrants ages fourteen (14) or older who are Chinese students, Chinesegraduates or whose Submissions inflecting Chinese elements. A minor (a personunder eighteen (18) years of age) submitting a photograph or photographs shouldreceive his/her parent/legal guardian’s permission.
This is a non-skill based contest; anypeople have the opportunity to win the prizes.
2 ENTERY:
During the Contest Period, go to www.csa.ac.nz complete the Entry Form and followthe instructions to upload and submit a maximum of three (10) photographs("Submission" or "Submissions"). Each Submission must beaccompanied by contact information (including full name & nick name, emailaddress, mobile number, unit) and a description of the Submission (50-500words) and how the Submission relates to the Spirit of Oversea Study In NZ Contesttheme.
By uploading your Submission and submitting your EntryForm, you agree that your Submission conforms to these Official Rules andwarrant that your Submission complies with the Official Rules. The ManagingCommittee may disqualify you from the Contest, in its sole discretion, if TheManaging Committee believes that your Submission fails to conform to theseOfficial Rules.
The Managing Committee reserves the right to disqualifyEntrants who submit more than 10 Submissions. Physical copies of Submissionsreceived by The Managing Committee will not be returned and become the propertyof The Managing Committee. Submissions entered by automated means, includingscript or macro, are void. The person who submits the Submission will be deemedthe Entrant. The Managing Committee reserves the right to disqualify Entrantswho are unable to provide, upon request, the file formats required by TheManaging Committee herein.
Any Entrant whose Submission includes likenesses of thirdparties or contains elements not owned by the Entrant (including, but notlimited to, trademarks, images or logos) must be able to provide to TheManaging Committee releases for such uses, including The Managing Committee’suse, in a form acceptable to The Managing Committee. Entrants whose Submissionincludes likenesses of minors must be able to provide to The Managing Committee,upon request, releases signed by the parent or legal guardian of such minors.
In the event of a dispute regarding the ownership of aSubmission, the authorized account holder, at time of entry, of the emailaddress used to upload and submit the Submission will be deemed to be theEntrant. Each Entrant may be required to show proof that he/she is the owner ofthe Submission. In the event that the ownership of the Submission is contested,The Managing Committee shall disqualify and discontinue use of the Submission.
Personal information collected from Entrant, such asEntrant’s name, mailing address, e-mail address, and mobile number, during theContest registration process is subject to The ManagingCommittee's Privacy Policy. TheManaging Committee will only use Entrant’s personal information for thepurposes of administering Entrant’s participation in the Contest, and will notrelease this information to any third party for any reason.
3 SUBMISSIONGUIDELINES
All Submissions must be submitted by the originalphotographer and not anonymously. Entrant must own and hold all rights tohis/her Submissions, including the copyright. Submissions must not containmaterial that violates or infringes on the rights of others, including, but notlimited to, privacy, publicity, tort, copyright, trademark or patent rights orconstitute copyright or trademark infringement. Submissions that have beenpreviously published or are pending publication, have been previously exhibitedor displayed or infringe on the copyright or trademark of any third party shallnot be submitted by Entrant and will be disqualified by The Managing Committee.
Submissions must be at least 4 x 5 inches at a resolutionof 300 dots per inch (or dpi). Submissions saved in a .jpg or .tif format arepreferred. Each Submission must not exceed 2 megabytes per file. Submission maybe in color or black and white. The Managing Committee will not accept scans ofnon-digital photographs. No alteration or manipulation of Submissions ispermitted. The Managing Committee’s judges reserve the right to disqualify anySubmission that they believe has been altered or enhanced or that appears to bea scan of a non-digital photograph. Submissions must not be inappropriate, indecent,hateful, discriminatory or obscene, as determined in the Managing Committee’ssole discretion or contain unlawful or illegal materials. The ManagingCommittee reserves the right to disqualify Entrants who are unable to provide,upon request, high-resolution Submissions as required herein.
4 LICENSEAND RELEASE
By participating in or entering this Contest, Entrantgrants The Managing Committee a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable,perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, print, publish, reproduce, perform,edit, modify, create derivative works from, and display Submission(s) and anydescription of Submission(s), in whole or in part, in any publication orpromotional device of The Managing Committee in any form, media or technologynow known or later developed, including using Submission(s) for promotional andmarketing purposes and in any publication of The Managing Committee and withoutattribution or compensation to Entrant and his/her successors or assigns. Thegrant of rights by Entrant to The Managing Committee herein shall include, butnot be limited to, the right to adapt or otherwise use Submission(s), or anyportion thereof, alone or in conjunction with other materials, in all types ofelectronic, digital, online, computer-based media and technologies and anyother system or medium now existing or hereafter developed, the right tosublicense use and reproduction of Submission(s) to Entities, as well as thestorage, retrieval, transmission, display, output and reproduction of datathrough any such media and technologies. Entrant will sign any necessarydocumentation that may be required by The Managing Committee to make use of thenon-exclusive rights Entrant is granting to use the Submission. Submissions maybe published onwww.csa.ac.nz or Official Facebook account any time.
Entrant agrees to the worldwide publication and/ordisplay of his/her name and likeness, in The Managing Committee’s solediscretion, except where prohibited by law. Any Entrant’s acceptance of anyprize shall constitute and signify such Entrant’s agreement and consent that TheManaging Committee and its designees may use the Entrant’s name, likeness,biographical materials, image, photo, Submission and/or prize information foradvertising, promotional, publicity and other purposes, worldwide, in any andall media now known or hereafter devised, including posting the Submissiononline, for editorial purposes concerning this Contest or succeeding contestsand for editorial publicity, special events and advertising purposes inconnection with promoting The Managing Committee, its products, its Web siteand/or this Contest or succeeding contests, without limitation and withoutfurther payment, notification, permission or other consideration, except whereprohibited by law. Entrants will indemnify The Managing Committee and anylicensee of The Managing Committee against all claims, damages, liabilities,and expenses (including reasonable counsel fees and legal expenses) arising outof any breach of these terms.
5 DISPUTES
Except where prohibited, Entrant agrees that: (1) theseOfficial Rules or the rights and obligations of the Entrant and The ManagingCommittee in connection with this Contest shall be governed and construed bythe laws of the New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of laws; and (2)any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connectedwith this Contest or any prize awarded in conjunction with this Contest shallbe resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, andexclusively by the local courts sitting in New Zealand.
