You are passionate about solid wood furniture and dedicated to enhancing the customer experience. As a Product Consultant at our Wairau Valley Flagship Experience Centre on Auckland's NorthShore, you will be more than just a salesperson—you will be an ambassador forour brand culture and a future leader in training. You will deliver exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge, maximising every salesopportunity to create a memorable experience for each customer. As a product consultant, you will also be deeply involved in all aspects of storeo perations, preparing yourself to take on greater management responsibilitiesin the future.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service: Greet every customer warmly, understand their needs, and provide expert furniture consultation to deliver a standout OFS experience. Product Sales: Use your product knowledge and sales skills to maximise opportunities, including room styling advice and add-on sales. Operations: Complete sales orders and related documentation accurately and efficiently. Assist with managing clearance stock, updating product info, and maintaining the Order Request & Clearance List. Showroom Maintenance: Work with Customer Service, Buying, and Logistics teams to keep the showroom tidy and visually appealing, rotate stock, and update displays. Sales Monitoring: Record daily sales data, track showroom performance, identify slow-moving items, and recommend actions to improve sales. Showroom Cleaning: Maintain high showroom standards daily, including waxing timber products and cleaning glass displays.
Skills & ExperienceSales Experience: Proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally with high-value products such as furniture, bedding, luxury goods, or premium travel services. Communication: Confident English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport professionally. Resilience & Problem-Solving: Stay positive under pressure and proactively resolve issues. Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues to improve store performance. Growth Mindset: Open to feedback and eager to learn, with a positive approach to self-development. Organisation & Multitasking: Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently with attention to detail and accuracy.
