Stone Tech Waikato Ltd is expanding and we are seeking a capable, motivated, and experienced individual to take on the role of Branch Operations Manager for our Hamilton team. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the new branch. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the full benchtop production process: measurement, scheduling, fabrication, delivery, and installation
Supervise workshop and installation teams; assign tasks and ensure high-quality output
Act as the communication bridge between the office, factory, installation team, and clients
Handle client enquiries, confirm details, follow up on jobs, and ensure customer satisfaction
Work closely with the Auckland head office to align production and service standards
Assist in inventory control, material ordering, and monthly stocktake
Oversee machinery status, maintenance reminders (no hands-on repairs needed)
Report regularly to the Director and participate in process optimisation
Coordinate with your assistant for documentation, invoicing, basic admin
Requirements:
Proven experience in operations, production, or factory/site management (stone, kitchen, or related industry preferred)
Familiarity with benchtop production, ability to read plans and perform measurements
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Basic English (verbal and written) required
High level of reliability, independence, and execution
Willingness to build the Waikato branch from the ground up with long-term vision
