Auckland was founded on 18 September 1840. Auckland’s founding is

celebrated by Auckland Heritage Festival which runs from 29 September to

14 October and is packed with over 150 exciting events and activities across

the city, most of which are free or ask for a small donation. Events include

guided walks and tours, exhibitions, open days, film screenings, harbour

trips, and family friendly activities. With everything from art and

architecture to fashion and music, the festival is suitable for people of all

ages and interests.

奥克兰建立于1840年9月18号.9月29号到10月14号的奥克兰历史文化遗产节就是为了纪念奥克兰的建立. 在节日的期间,奥克兰全城会有超过150种活动,大部分的活动是免费的或是收取一些小额的捐款. 这些活动包括,有导游引导的文化遗产探索之旅, 展览,开放日,电影展,港口之旅, 以及亲朋好友之间的活动. 从艺术到建筑再到时尚和音乐, 奥克兰历史文化遗产节适合各个年龄段,不同兴趣爱好的人们.
