Job Title: Marketing Specialist Location: East Tamaki, Auckland Position Type: Full-time Job Overview: We are seeking aversatile and experienced Marketing Specialist to support both digital andtraditional marketing efforts. This role will involve planning and executingmarketing activations, supporting digital marketing initiatives for oure-commerce website, and creating compelling content in both English andMandarin. The ideal candidate will also contribute to traditional marketingactivities such as media campaigns and events. KeyResponsibilities:
- Marketing Activation Planning & Execution: Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns, promotions, and activations to boost brand awareness and product visibility.
- Digital Marketing Support: Assist with the management of SEO, SEM, social media ads, and digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales on our e-commerce platform.
- Traditional Marketing: Support traditional marketing efforts including media buying, and the planning and execution of events such as expos and customer activations.
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content in both English and Mandarin for social media, websites, EDMs, catalogues, and other marketing collateral.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow brand presence on digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads) and Chinese social media (WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Douyin).
- Event Management: Assist in organizing and promoting corporate events, product launches, and trade shows, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing audience engagement.
- Visual Content Production (Preferred): Capture and edit images for marketing purposes, enhancing visual storytelling across campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using insights to improve future initiatives.
Qualifications& Skills:
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, with a focus on digital marketing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and advertising platforms like Facebook and Google Ads.
- Experience with traditional marketing, including media planning and event management.
- Expertise in Chinese social media platforms and the ability to produce culturally relevant content.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and the ability to assess campaign effectiveness.
- Excellent written and visual content creation skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Photography skills and familiarity with basic photo editing (preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
