With our businessscope expansion, we now have an exciting opportunity for a fulltime Quantity Surveyor / Estimator tojoin our team in East Tamaki, Auckland.

The role will includebut not limit to the following dutiesand responsibilities:

·        Manage the full tender process includingpreparation, review and delivery of tenders and quotes.

·        Measurements, take-offs and estimates.Especially in concrete structure.

·        Analysing drawings and engineer specifications.

·        Main contractor QS team liaison, subcontractormanagement.

·        Cost control and monitoring projects to stay onbudget.

·        Identify variations to the contract.

·        Conduct and submit monthly progress claims.

·        Ensurethat all client queries are answered effectively, promptly, and appropriately.

The ideal person will:

·        A minimum of 3 years post-graduation commercialconstruction cost estimating experience.

·        Strong attention to detail.

·        Effective time management skill.

·        Excellent knowledge and understanding of NZConstruction Contracts Act.

·        Familiarity with various estimating and projectsoftware systems.

·        Becommitted to health and safety.

·        Previousexperience in estimating in concrete structure would be preferred.
