The Role


  • End-to-end accounts payable and complete monthly vendor reconciliation.
  • Ensure all customer refunds and employee expense claims are processed promptly.
  • Management of accounts receivable functions including generating and sending customer invoices, and allocating payment received on a daily basis.
  • Daily banking reconciliation and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Reconciliation of intergroup receivables, payables, and bank balances.
  • All things month-end, including journals and reporting.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist with GST filing and other tax-related returns.
  • Assist with monthly stock take and cost control.
  • Address queries related to invoices and billings and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Establish and maintain effective accounting procedures while providing support and assistance to other team members as you see fit.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.


About you


  • Bachelor's Degree majoring in Accounting or higher.
  • Experience in an Accountant role.
  • Experience in the use of accounting systems – e.g. Xero.
  • You will have an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • You will have excellent planning and communication skills – both written and verbal, with a great ability to collaborate with others, clearly articulate ideas/concepts, and present to others.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be a proactive problem solver.
  • An understanding and sensitivity to working with diverse cultures and individuals.
  • Ideally Hospitality experience.
