We’re a New Zealand based Façade engineering specialist who pride ourselves on our commitment to delivering innovative, superior façade solutions. Our projects range from small Shopfront and Remedial Projects, all the way throughto High Rise Curtainwall Installations. Who do we need?
We are on the look-out for an Junior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our company. If you are a pro-active, quality driven person who wants to be part of a team whogets to work on some of Auckland’s most exciting commercial projects, this is agreat opportunity for you.
You’ll need:
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Working experience in the façade/curtain wall/Aluminium windows and doors would be preferable but not necessary – graduates are welcome
- Able to work in a high performing team with theability to multitask
- Willingness to learn and try something new
- Bilingualin English and Mandarin will be preferable
- Abideby and contribute to all health, safety, drug and alcohol policies
Your Responsibilities: - Prepare take-offs based on the plans / models and drawings
- Assist in pricing of estimates and cost plans
- Request for quotations from the subcontractors
- Collate and handover tender information to the construction team
- Check timesheets/variation hours from the installation teams
- Record and price the variations for project
- Issue Purchase Order to local supplier
- Monthly Financial report for Installation team
