Junior draftsperson (Short-term contract)

We are looking for a junior drafter/architecturalgraduate to join us at our Mount Wellington-based office in Auckland for a short-term (part-time/full-time) job, for a duration of one to two months. You will be working closely with the design team to develop details for a newfaçade system.

Applicants will have to be proficient withCAD/REVIT softwares (other programmes such as Sketchup/Rhino/Solidworks and etc. are welcomed as long you have the expertise and confidence to utilise them efficiently to deliver the drawings appropriately).

•           Extend your knowledge of building design and construction processes.
• ·        Learn about New Zealand building code clause first-hand
• ·        Learn how to detail different cladding systems based on the building code requirement.
• ·        Enhance and develop your modeling and design software skillset while working closely with the design team
• ·         develop a keen eye for detail, planning and time management skills
  

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• ·        A relevant coursework: diploma/bachelorin architectural technology/architectural studies/construction.
• ·        Conversant with relevant NZBuilding codes and statutory requirements (Ideally but not necessary)
• ·        Knowledge of building designand construction processes (Ideally but not necessary)
• ·        Effective interpersonal andcommunication skills.
• ·        A team player and self-starter
• ·        A keen eye for detail and areenthusiastic about learning new skills
