Hi,
I am looking for a job in related to the business or finance analysis. During my studies, I actively looked for different opportunities to explore my career options. Through undertaking various virtual internship experience programs, I am genuinely drawn to the financial  market and have decided to pursue a career in the banking industry.

This year, I participated in the Investment Management Virtual Internship Program at Future IM/Pact. Through the program, I gained an overview of the role of a sell-side analyst and the asset management industry.  I learnt how to perform initial screening on bonds  issued by listed companies such as Apple and BHP, build a yield curve and make a recommendation to the portfolio manager. In addition, with the guidance of the senior analyst, I analysed the deal on LVMH acquiring Tiffany & Co. and formed views on how it might impact the financial performance and market positions of the relevant businesses. The taste of a day in the life of ananalyst has equipped me with a practical understanding of the industry and I find it a truly valuable experience.

Currently, I am working as Front of House at Coffee Club Meadowlands while I search for the role to commence my career in the banking industry. Although it is not a retail banking, I see it as a precious opportunity to gain working experience in a fast-paced team environment, learn first-hand about providing quality customer experience, and immerse myself in Kiwi culture. As the first point of contact at a café, I am responsible for providing consistent, friendly and efficient service to all customers; communicate and collaborate closely with fellow team members, managers and different stakeholders related to the business; optimise customer sales through adding value at the counter; and maintain store presentation, hygiene and product quality. For the continuous growth of the business, I constantly gather opinions from a variety of customers with different backgrounds and reflect on these with the team members and managers to see where we can improve as a business.
