Looking for manager at Sichuan Style Te Rapa Hamilton

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations at Te Rapa shop, Hamilton


The successful candidate will be expected to have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar hospitality and management position. This is a full-time position and applicants require weekend and evening work on a variable roster. You’ll be flexible with the work hours and timings for all 7 days




Tasks & Responsibilities


Managing day to day operations and special functions
Planning menus and reviewing prices in consultation with chefs
Overseeing all financial transactions
Budget and stock management
Liaising with suppliers to ensure inventory is up to date
Managing the staff including rostering, training, allocation of work, task achievement, dispute resolution and reporting
Responding efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Ensuring suitable dining environment and the compliance with health regulations




Skills and Experience


Manager certificate
A minimum of 2-year experience in a similar hospitality and management position
A qualification related to the position for hospitality and management
Ability to provide a high level of customer service, happy to go the extra mile when required to ensure customer satisfaction
You’ll have a great attitude and be a motivated team player
Excellent communication skills are essential in this role
Experience in controlling, communicating and managing suppliers
