This year will be a wonderful year to you as you will be provided with 25 to 30iconic sport events in Auckland, plus 4 workshops with different themes makeyour volunteering experience unique and unforgettable. We hope throughvolunteering with us, you will make new friends, become more physically active,improve English, enhance your skills that are useful to your study and futurecareer such as communication, teamwork and leadership skills, and of coursehave heaps of fun!

To receive an ActivAsian volunteercertificate, you need to

1.      be prompt oncommunication via Emails/WeChat/Facebook/Txt Messages

2.      be on time on thevolunteering day and perform your duties well

3.      volunteer at a minimumof three sporting events during the year fill in a post-participation survey

Where	Spark  Arena – Meet at Entry B
What	·          Setting up dressing  rooms for teams    ·          Setting up front  entrance with player banners and entertainment    ·          Following  instructions of event manager    ·          Setting up seating  area    ·          Other tasks that  might be requested by the staff
Health and Safety	·          Lifting heavy items,  unpacking the loading vehicle, carrying chairs around arena    ·          Working up high in  stadium stands, placing banners in the stands    ·          Technical set will be  happening at the same time, live wires, wire lying on court/floor    ·          Wet weather can  affect set-up, e.g. flag set-up outside    ·          In the case of any  injuries or emergencies a First Aid Kit will be onsite, and a safety briefing  will also be conducted prior to commencing set up.
Notice	·          Please wear  comfortable clothes that you can move in.    ·          There is a production  office where you can store your personal belonging while you set up.    ·          Find a replacement if  you cannot make it and let us know that person's contact information at least  3 days prior to the event day.  Fail to do so will affect your  participation in future volunteering events    ·          A team leader may  receive a double pass to the game that afternoon if they wish.

What to do: direct spectators to their seats, send out flyers, etc.
