10月12号kidzanya培训机构联合Learning Journeys公司共同举办一次美丽的Tiritiri Matangi岛的游学活动，参与对象是4-13岁学生，家长陪同参加名额有限，有玩有学，是一次不可多得的亲近自然，亲子活动体验。

时间： 10月12号 07：45——17：30

费用：84dollaras (每位学生) （家长费用需致电询问）

行程：· 07:45 在kidzanya集合（地址：16 Turner Street）,步行至Ferry

            · 08:45 上岸徙步

             · 10:30 参观学习濒危野生动物

             · 12:00 午餐

            · 13:30 在hobb海滩活动

             · 15:30 离岸

            · 17:00 返回奥克兰

            · 17:30 返回kidzanya中心

Here at Kidzanya Education Centre, we’re planning a day trip to Tiritiri Matangi Island for students in Years 4 to 13 and their friends in the same age group. There is also a limited number of places for parents. The trip will be organized and run by Learning Journeys Ltd., experienced operators of educational tours. A Learning Journeys educational guide will accompany the group, as well as a Kidzanya member of staff.

Tiritiri Matangi Island is a wildlife sanctuary and one of New Zealand's most exciting conservation projects. 120 years of farming saw this small island stripped of 94% of its native bush but, between 1984 and 1994, volunteers planted between over 250,000 trees. The island is now 60% forested with 40% left as grassland for species preferring open habitat. All mammalian predators have been eradicated and a large number of threatened and endangered bird and reptile species have been introduced, including the flightless takahe and the tuatara.

This is your chance to visit one of Auckland’s hidden treasures and to develop your understanding of conservation science at the same time.

Date and Times

12th October: 07:45 am – 17:30 pm (depart from /return to Kidzanya Education Centre,)

The Programme

· 07:45 Meet at Kidzanya Education Centre, and walk to ferry terminal (20 minutes).

· 08:45 Board ferry for a 1.5hour journey to Tiritiri Matangi Island.

· 10:30 Guided walk to meet the island’s endangered wildlife

· 12:00 Lunch at visitor centre

· 13:30 Activities at Hobb’s Beach (not swimming)

· 15:30 Ferry leaves Tiritiri Matangi

· 17:00 Arrive back in Auckland

· 17:30 Return to Kidzanya Education CentrePrice

$84.00 per student. This payment is due by 2nd October, along with the completed parental consent form (see below).  Please ask us about prices for adults. There is a small number (depending on total group size) of free places for adults, on a first come-first served basis.

To Bring

· Warm, waterproof jacket

· Lunch/snacks/drinks (there is no food for sale on the island)
