only the lower part (which have contract with the road) will affect the height of the car...
so, 10mm is the overall diameter of tyres...but the car only drop 5mm

thats the right calculation, just different way of saying, all professionals will calculate the exact difference between two tyres' diametres, and it is only the lower part affects. and different sizes will surely affects your car, especially for the transmission. question is about how bad. a brand new focus' transmission is xxxed just because of 10mm higher of one tyre. good to talk to you, hope we can have more technical talking lates.

i agree different size of tyres will affect the car..especially left/right size different will damage the lsd or diff...different in front and rear will damage the centre diff, transmission  in 4wd car...also, it may mis function the abs and control stability system..
we just mis-understanding and talking different way...haha

MINI前宽后窄没什么问题的啦,而且和FLAT TYRE一点关系也没有,我也比较同意应该是装轮子的时候把胎压传感器弄坏了,毕竟欧洲车是结实,但是换东西还是要找专业的,况且电子部件又脆弱,不然你的宝贝MINI很有可能怎么坏的都不知道.

胎大小都一样,只不过195的胎比205窄了点,大小都一样,不会有太大影响吧?
