其实说实在的，谁都知道人类要开发新资源，不能依赖石油。美国人更知道减少对中东国家的依赖。但是，贫民百姓是研究不了新型汽车的，当科学家们研究出来之前，我们必须要增加产量降低油价，这样我们才能让汽油尽快地用完，让科学家们尽快研究出来新型汽车。

some of you might remember there are numerous attempts by scientist to come up with a car that doesnt use petrol/diesel, or any of the petroleum product.

I remember a famous case was back in 1998, a UK scientist announced he has finalised his design for a car that runs on water but a week later he was killed in a car accident.

I think there is too much money involved in the Petroleum industry, they cant afford to have a car that runs on water or renewable technology. What will happen to these companys investment if there is a car that doesnt rely on the petrol/diesel they sell??

Dont tell me I am dreaming, because I can tell you one good example.

Bell Telephone had the right of the telephone 30 years before they put it into production, why didnt they release it for the greater good? well, there is no greater good, only greater profit, if they release the technology earlier, others will copy it and their profit will drop.

我不懂什么 经济原理， 我只知道bp是最快涨价， bp的有开的公里数最低。。

BP开的最低吗？我都是加98的，BP98的油是不是还不如Shell的95？

there are theories and events that suggest what we call crude oil MAYBE something that mother Earth is replenishing itself. but its widely rejected by scientist.

I remember reading a case in Brazil, one of the well they were drilling was running dry/low, so they moved onto next one, sometime later they came back and discover the well is now full again.

我的意思是说， 同样品质加同样重量的油， 开同样的路， 我觉得bp的油最不耐烧，跑得公里数满缸可以比gull或者shell的少几十公里。。。。


这是我的个人感觉。。前面几个人也应证了我的感觉。。而且不同油站也有不一样。。我个人最喜欢gull..不过离家远。。。。。。

En, true true. So what will the oil companies do when crude oil eventually run out?

I think the question is ... will it run out?

and if they run out, these companies probably have new technology already developed and locked up in their vault... once the petrol runs out, they will release the new technology, and you will have to pay to use them.

Yeah, I get your point now, the big oil corporates probably drive on battery cells already.

我有个学地质的朋友说， 理论上地球的石油对于人类来说是用不完的。。。不过能不能探测到跟能不能开采是个技术问题。。。

I think, long time ago they didn't count for oil sand in canada or other difficult oil field.

Today they pay for any price to exract those oil and discovery new field from deeper sea.

对不起啊， 我也所知有限。。。听他说， 其实地底下面埋下来的资源是多得用不完的。。关键是能不能找到能不能开采的问题。。

陆地才占地球表面的一小部分， 大部分都是海洋。我们现在连陆地表面下面的石油还没有探清楚，所以不要说海洋了。。如果是版块移动的话， 搞不好海洋地下埋下的资源更多。


不过话又说回来， 就算是石油明天就没有了。。。现在已经开始用食物来炼油了不是吗。。。不用说其他各种各样的能源了。。。


我觉得只要太阳不远离地球，能源问题不用太担心。。。当然也不能浪费就是了。。。

you know that Chinese Myth, Nv Wa bu tian... the goddess used something from earth and repaired a hole in the sky..

sounds like exactly what we try to do today.
