haha, i see. thanks!
and can you please check if this list is right for your recipe 3?
these recipes are very very very flexible. in fact i only measure so i dont make too much to hold in my cali baby container. unlike the previous 2 pots made to a 'tried and tested' formula, this one i decided to just make on a 1:1:1:1:1 ratio, as i saw lots of the gonative recipes have the same ratio.
beeswax is put in at around 10%. vitamin E about 5-10% (some recipes say less, around 1%, but i haven't found any harm in using it at this ratio, so it's up to you).
aloe vera i used to top up the container and get it to the consistency that i want. i've never measured it. hence why the previous recipes calls for approximate weight. this is the only time i've measured it and it came to approx 15g.
geogard 221 is suggested to be used at 0.2-0.8% depending on the amount of water in the recipe. it is a preservative for water. if you're using just an oil base, you dont have to have preservative if you're using it up quite quickly.
calendula oil is always infused in something. lotusoils sells them infused in soy bean. gonative sells them infused in sunflower. i chose the sunflower infusion because sunflower oil itself is really god for eczema.
rosehip oil is just rosehip oil. rose geranium is the rose smelling essential oil that can be used to give a rosy smell instead of pure rose oil because its so so so expensive. essential oils are optional. kinda. if it's only for the scent then go for the cosmetic grade version. if you want to actually use it for their properties, research on them. i used rose geranium for scent only. rose has nothing to do with eczema.
lastly, to answer your previous question, i THINK tomato used avocado instead of rosehip. only reason being rosehip is bright orange in colour, and her cream is very pale. this is my guess only. |
