Thanks, but I m not an accounting graduate but I have seen so many accounting graduates losing hope in getting their first job in the accounting sector as there are so many Chinese doing this subject. Anyway, I think luck still plays a quite significant role.

Yes I agree, there are a lot of good candidates out there so to land a job the person needs to be the right place at the right time and meet the right people so luck is definitely important. I have seen lots of my class mates giving up but I also seen those that didn't give up and 'all' of them are CA now, so have perseverance.
