Yes, everyone is unique.

Otherwise everyone will think about the same thing and do the same job and earns the same salary and live in the house with same value and eat same stuff etc. :-)
People need to think about their situation before make a decision to buy a school zone house or go to private school. Before making a decision, a healthy discussion is needed to consider pro's and con's.

不知道你学过统计没有，多因素影响结果，要一个个的判断各个因素的影响，就要先保持其他因素不变，而不是混在一起

你能举例，同样两个学生来自上海的普通学校，唯一区别是一个大班上课，一个小班上课，最后成绩差不多或者大班成绩好，才能证明你的point吧

中国上海的大班学习，成绩高于新西兰的小班学习，能说明大班优于小班，或者大小班和成绩不相关？好吧。。。。

也就是说，新西兰的情况很可能和国际上OECD的数据不一致。

晕，大家的讨论我已经看不懂了，今天看了全校网的unit，70万没有院子，只有一个车位，阳光也一般，房子只有70平左右，真的不甘心住在里面，我觉得我会抑郁的。最终决定去买8分学区的house了，将来有条件了高中再送私立或者换学区房吧，毕竟孩子还小，才5岁，七八年之后谁知道会发生什么变化呢，感觉住的宽敞一点，孩子玩起来也开心，大人心情也好，总不能来到新西兰了住的反倒不如国内了。

有道理，住得舒服很重要，一个好的环境相当重要

三口之家，孩子小的话，100万买个三房 300-400的地应该不难吧，很多选择啊

好像看明白点了，大家都推荐半岛是因为这个价格可以买到全幅地是吧？我看你发这个房子地都很大，小学也很好，但是距离都要5公里左右。半岛还是不适合我，我想找一个老人走路就可以接送孩子的区，这个离小学也太远了。

半岛上有两个公立小学，Matipo School 和 Peninsula Primary School都不错，走路上学只需几分钟，半岛就那么大的地方，哪需要走几公里？？？

你如果想要想干什么都方便，就要锁定几条你自己很喜欢的街区，在你可以接受的街区里买房。想购物方便就选离超市近的街区，想上学近就选学校附近，也可选在超市和学校之间。如果不嫌吵也可选在学校旁边住，出门就是学校，都不用接送！

个人感觉楼主买房之所以如此纠结是因为：预算有限，要求太高，过于挑剔，自己还拿不定主意。

看楼主最近在这论坛里发了不少的帖子问来问去，大家好心推荐，很多人都认真地为你热心解答，你却总是疑神疑鬼的，好像谁要欺骗你似的！咋说是好呢？？？

我对半岛不熟悉，我只知道很简单的办法，就是上黑羊网站去查，你推荐的前三套房子我都看了，非常感谢。

第一套房子小学是St Paul‘s School，4.3公里
第二套和第三套房子有两个对应的小学，分别是Peninsula Primary School和St Paul‘s School，这两个房子距离St Paul‘s School都超过了4公里。至于Peninsula Primary School，黑羊显示毛岛比例近50%。我承认我有偏见，但是华人有偏见的也不是我一个，这没什么好掩饰了。我不排除这个小学有我不知道的优点，但至少从人口构成这块我不认为是个好学校。至于Matipo School，因为你推荐的房子都没有划到这个学校，所以我不太清楚，也没有去查。

很感谢你帮我推荐房子，但我没有疑神疑鬼的意思，也不喜欢别人动不动就上纲上线，在论坛发帖子是因为自己不懂，的确有困扰，但我还没自大到会怀疑别人那份上。

可能是因为我对这个地区不了解，目前查到的房子，的确距离小学4公里以上，可能是有更近的小学我没有查到吧，我想找一个老人走路就可以接送孩子的房子，而不是区。每个家庭都有自己的困难，这应该比较容易理解吧

对啊，但也不用放弃半岛啊，这几套房子有点远，明天出来一个学校附近的在预算范围内的房子，你就完全不考虑吗？

我觉得，先找区，总体价格合适，地理合适，校区合适，然后再找具体位置，比如某几条街比如靠近超市公车站学校，有的时候只能等房源，没办法的事。。。。
