工作和学历背景不符合的问题

只要你的工作属于skilled employment，不管你之前的学历是不是跟你工作对应，你都可以申请技能移民，打分要是够140就更不用担心了，我当时总分过140了就没去claim紧缺学历的分数，所以题主的情况可能只是没法加紧缺学历的分数而已，不要担心。
谁说以前学了什么必须从事什么工作啊，对吧。我假如学核物理的，现在头脑一风暴去当木工，也没问题啊，只要打分够，就可以申请居民签证。

感谢前辈的回复，我看EOI打分表，确实没说工作和学历不符不可以加分。但是很多地方都说工作必须和学历吻合，才有工作的加分。因为这个加分很多（50-60分），这个分加不到技术移民肯定走不通的。

您当时申请的时候虽然工作和专业背景不符合，但也能拿到工作加分（50-60）？

Skilled employment is employment that requires specialist, technical or management expertise obtained through:
i. the completion of recognised relevant qualifications; or
ii. recognised relevant work experience; or
iii. the completion of recognised relevant qualifications and work experience.
注意是or，上述三个中满足一个都可以。

没有任何一个规定说学历不是很高就不能申请，关键看你的打分够不够、工作内容是否符合Skilled Migrant里面的标准，具体的请看移民局的网站，信息都有。
单纯对于Skilled employment的要求就是我上面那个回答里提到的，满足如下三个条件之一就算Skilled employment：
1，目前的工作，是由于你有被认可的学历（recognised relevant qualifications）
2，目前的工作，是由于你有被认可的相关工作经历（recognised relevant work experience）
3，目前的工作，是由于你有有被认可的学历（recognised relevant qualifications）+被认可的相关工作经历（recognised relevant work experience）
（翻译得比较粗糙，见谅）

对于如何是界定“被认可的”(recognised)，需要再自行去查查移民局的规定。

我不是专业人士，给出的建议不一定准确

其实总结起来就是，一定的工作经验可以替代学历。
这个在ANZSCO上也是有说的。
比如我要找工作的话是属于business analyst的。
ANZSCO的要求如下：
Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification may substitute for the formal qualification. 它下面举的例子也是

Example: The occupation of Brick Layer in ANZSCO indicates that at least three years of relevant work experience may substitute for a formal qualification.
The bricklayer may also have a recognised bachelor degree in English Literature (not relevant to his offer of employment as a bricklayer).

As long as the bricklayer can show satisfactory evidence of three years of work experience, then he or she can claim for the recognised Bachelor Degree.
