你们搞错了一个概念。自卫是人身权利，是本能。是不需要法律特别说明的。自卫的后果由法律系统来决定，是否合理。
在正常状况下，只能靠常识来判定。但你首先有自卫的权利。你也可以采用武器，但在警察的网站上说的好：武器也可能被用来对付你。
他们还建议了各种方法。但并不是说你只能逃避。
回到那个狗咬人的帖子：如果是个几岁的孩子，走进那里，被狗咬了，那就是完全不同性质的事件。

是你搞错了， 自卫是人身权利,当你收到生命的威胁，正当自卫是无可厚非， 但是不代表你可以以自卫的名义去杀/伤害某人，自卫故名思义，只是自我的防卫，不给你权利去over power others. For instance: you can defend yourself by punching back if someone is punching you. but if he gave up punching after you punched back, then your self defense ends here. you can not attack him any more becuz you are not in danger/ he is not posing threat anymore. Also it has to be equal balance of force, which means he attacked you by fist, you can not use a weapon. if he is using a chair, you can use a similar thing. but of course, if your life is really in dange, all things goes, but you better have a good explanation of why you did it after this. if you kill someone during selfdefence, which considered by court of using excessive force, its possible that you will still be charged for manslaughter. By law, everyone is crimial liable for using excessive force. it also includes law enforcement unit. Everyone has to answer to law at the end of the day, no one will escape from a court hearing. There is defination of selfdence in the law book. so like you said "自卫是人身权利，是本能." is correct, "是不需要法律特别说明的."?? I dont think so. Its better to understand fully, before you mislead others.

在新西兰法律还是相当严谨的~ 比如小偷进来如果只是偷东西，你却打伤了他，那就是两种不同的刑事案件~ 还有你自己忘记关好门窗而导致被盗，和小偷对门窗进 break in 是两种不同的性质~ 忘记关好门窗的你也要负一定的责任~
