lz is really get high salary. even people workin in the Lotteries commission operation department didnt get that high, and also depend on the expereience.

more or less, 差不多，一般来说从毕业开始每年一万左右的升幅（平均来说 也可能就是一年加5000 下一年跳槽加了15000...)
按现在的市场价 一般纯做技术的大概到100-120的就到顶了（能过110的都已经较少了）

这话说的一点不错 这个行业里的确很多人都比较牛逼哄哄的（arrogant )
原因也许是有科学依据的 做IT要很强的逻辑思维（不仅仅做开发的 做网络 做业务分析 设计 测试 维护 支持 ... 所有方面都要求这个）就是要左脑比较发达 左脑锻炼多了 也许就造成了右脑相对活动会少一点 而情商靠的主要是右脑 所以 ...

这是我猜的 好听点是intelligent guess...

i agree with u, IT people generally have low EQ, i guess its the type of work we engaged in everyday that make us the way we are. We can deal with complex problem solving but do not have much skills on relationship building etc

I think you raised a good point, its critical for us (IT people) to recognise where our strength is at, and make effort to improve on the EQ aspect of working in the IT industry.

我觉得做IT的，每天都要对着死板的电脑，一就是一，二就是二，很多时间都是用人脑去模拟电脑来编程，解决问题，时间久了，人脑就潜意识地跟电脑那样思想，当然情商就没有那么高了。

i think it depends really. for IT people,if you do not have much social life outside of work, then it is highly becoming a computer geek (low EQ possibly)

From what I observe, some of my colleagues (kiwis or western), computer / programming etc is all about their life, only interested in technical issues, those ppl who have not much interaction with others and social life, they tend to speak or act a bit not that smart... But the majority of IT ppl around me are fine. yeah, so i think it just the personal life choice.
